FengJing is one of the canal towns around by Shanghai. The canal towns all line the banks of the ancient Grand Canal system, which was first burrowed across the Yantze River delta during the age of the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907). It is 65 kilometres south west of downtown, Shanghai. No fees for entering town, but you need ticket (10-20RMB each) for some interesting places around the town.
