ZhuJiaJiao is one of the canal towns around by Shanghai. The canal towns all line the banks of the ancient Grand Canal system, which was first burrowed across the Yantze River delta during the age of the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907). It takes about one and a half hours to get there by bus or tours couch from the downtown (RenMingGuanChang, or XiuJiaHui etc). The tours or bus depart every half hour from 7:30am to 11:00am and return half-hourly until 4:30pm. The prices range of the tour from 85RMB to 130RMB included town entre fare and 5 interesting places entry tickets. The bus costs 12RMB for one way, and 30RMB for the town entre fare at weekend (weekday free).
