Rocky Point.. It's not just for spring break. We go down long for long weekends or a week. Its a place to go to relax and recharge. My cohort in planning these trips describes it as a way to defrag your brain. I mean, when the biggest decision of the day is" do we walk up the beach or down the beach" . This is the place that coined the phrase "and don't wear underware for the whole week!" How stressful can it be?! A typical morning is wake up, make coffee, drink coffee on porch, get second cup and head to the beach, place chair high enough not to get wet and walk, come back to chair, read & watch kids play in water. Then after walking the 20 yards back to the porch, make lunch and take a nap. Wake from nap and head back to the chair, read some more and watch the kids, maybe go in the water to cool off. As the sun works its way across the sky, make Margaritas and consume as needed. After sunset, eat dinner and maybe watch a movie on dvd. One day, maybe go town to shop, maybe hit the market for more tequila, maybe go to the aquarium to feed the sea turtles, maybe put clothes on and go out to eat. There is nowhere better to recharge the brain and soul.
