4/25 - Boat Tour, Rodin, Champs Elysees
We saw the Hotel Des Invalides (the Army museum where Napoleon's Cript is located) and the Musee de Rodin. More beauty and another beautiful weather day. The sun was shining all day and not a drop of rain, amazing for Paris! We took a boat tour on the Seine river that allowed us to see all of the places we have been visiting on foot. No stairs today, thank God since our calves are a little sore! After a fabulous day of sights, we took a hike down to Champs Elysees to eat with the rest of the tourists. We got to see some of the concept cars for Toyota which was so cool! They have one that the wheels turn 360 degrees so that it can slide into any parking spot. It will also park itself using the 6 cameras with sensors all around the car. Very Cool! (Mom-tell Rich I grabbed a brochure for him)
We walked through the Arc de Triomphe that Napoleon built as a tribute to himself. We think he may have liked himself a lot!
There may not be a story tomorrow as we are leaving Paris at 6am to drive out to Normandy so that the guys can give us a history lesson. They are very excited!
