On our way to Sequoia NP, we didn't expect Cali to be so mountainous covered with dry brown grass. The only thing we saw green were the groves of citrus and grapevines. We drove along the Kern River with steep cliffs very close to the road with no room to make a mistake. After much driving we finally arrive to Sequoia, our first stop, General Sherman- the largest tree in the world. It's amazing a tree can be that BIG! We didn't have time to go to the drive-thru tree, but the park was still amazing.
