Day 2 - Denver
The tour was interesting but not "impressive" as you'd think. You walked above the machines and its hard to really see what the machines are doing. They did have some exhibits that were interesting like a machine that was used until 1983 for printing on coin bags. It was a crazy old printing press, I thought 1983 seemed really late for updating that piece of machinery.
After the tour we went to Molly Browns (survived the Titanic) house. We were too early to go on any tours, but it was fun to see such a beautiful Victorian home.
After a few pictures outside Molly Browns home we drove to Hammonds Candy Factory. It was a lot of fun! The facility was built to have tours walk through so you could get a good took at the whole candy making process. It was fun to see candy being made by hand like that. And the free samples were awesome!!!!
This afternoon the girls have already gone swimming and we are now having lunch in the room.
Tonight dinner at Jabo's BBQ in Greenewood Village (see Trip Advisor for reviews) I'm very excited!
At noon I turned off the heat in the van - it was 60 degrees! Yeah!
