Last night we didn’t get much sleep. The neon sign was a little on the bright side. I always had a feeling KL and I would end up sleeping in the trailer under the glow of a neon light but, I never thought the sign would say Turtle Rock RV. There are blackberries growing all over this campground so I picked them for our cereal. We left Oregon behind and are staying in the Ca Redwoods. We drove the Avenue of the Giants, a section of road we haven’t been on in over 20 years and we are camped by the immortal tree. Brookings was nice. The weather was cold and misty so we really didn’t feel like sight seeing. CrescentCity was also nice. There was a surf contest going on so it was very congested. The road was very difficult today. KL spent 6 hours driving and we went less than 200 miles! It was a slow and exhausting ride. We are glad to be off the road. Casserole is in the oven, like us, if I stick a fork in it I bet it’s done!
