Santa fee was my travel destination when I was at my uncle’s
home. He was living in Las Vegas. I
went there to spend my holidays. One day, I left for the Santa
Fe by my car. I arrived there after a drive of 12
hours approximately from Las Vegas
to Santa Fe. I heard about that
wonderful city by my Uncle Sylvester. I already reserved a hotel there in
advanced. It was Quality Inn Santa Fe. They offered great discount to me. It
was the budget hotel in among all the hotels in Santa Fe.
In Santa Fe
there were lots of beautiful places to visit just like New Mexico Museum of Art, Rancho
de los Golondrinas, Santa Fe
Children's Museum, Loretto
Chapel and The State Capitol
Building. But first day I went at
the Santa Fe Children's Museum. This Museum was providing great way to share fun and learning with
the family at this exciting museum. It was offering interactive exhibits on the
arts, sciences and humanities. There were also freewheeling with
magnets, drawing, bubbles, playing in fountains and water, face painting, a
rock climbing wall, a place to bake stuff and a quiet corner for reading.
There's also a full outdoor area with plants to explore, pulleys and a
working well and a water wheel and a full greenhouse with earthworms and other
fun stuff. There I enjoyed a lot with children.
Next day I went for the Museum of International Folk Art.
The museum was holdings represent diverse cultures and
constitute the largest collection of international folk art in the world. The museum collection had been shaped in
large part by the generous support of individuals, most notably Alexander and
Susan. The core collection donated by
museum founder Florence Dibell Bartlett of 2,500 objects from 34 countries had
grown to over 130,000 objects from more than 100 countries. There I saw different collections of Donald
Cordry collection of Mexican textiles, costumes and masks, Judy Frater's
textiles from India, and a collection of African ironwork from Tom Joyce. After the
museum I went at the restaurant to eat some food. I enjoyed hot dog and pizza
there with coffee. Then I came back to
my uncle’s home. When I arrived at the Las Vegas I told
all about my trip to my uncle.
